The HeatUp line of aquarium heaters are a reliable way of creating and maintaining uniform temperature levels for your freshwater or marine aquarium environment. The robust double insulated quartz glass tube provides additional safety for aquarium use and is able to withstand greater temperature fluctuations than glass. The HeatUp temperature scale can be adjusted between 66°F – 90°F. The control system has a patented secondary knob for accurate readjustment of the temperature (+/- 2°F) and can be adjusted using the included post calibration tool. Temperature levels are monitored and controlled by bi-metal technology for automated heating with a thermal shutoff switch for added protection. Additionally, the heating function is displayed via the activated control light. Integrate this heater into the FiltoSmart 300 or BioMaster 600 to combine filtration and heating into one location. Use the ThermoFit FiltoSmart 300 (not included, model number 48567) to secure the heater into the FiltoSmart 300 filter. Integrating the heater reduces the amount of additional equipment seen in the aquarium. The optimal aquarium size for this heater is 80 gallons. The included holder with suction cups to install the heater to the side of the aquarium. Designed using German engineering and manufactured in Italy, this energy efficient heater is protected with a 3 year warranty.
